Faster S.P.A, a leading company in hydraulic coupling solutions, to be acquired by Capvis

Faster S.p.A, a leading global manufacturer of quick-release hydraulic coupling solutions based in Rivolta d'Adda/Italy, will be acquired by Capvis. Capvis agreed to acquire Faster from Argan Capital, a leading independent European private equity fund. The transaction is subject to approval by antitrust authorities. Faster's current CEO, Roberto Zecchi, and the senior management team will remain with the company and will invest alongside Capvis.

Founded in 1952, Faster introduced its first quick-release couplings in 1978. Today, Faster is recognized as a market-leading manufacturer of quick-release hydraulic couplings and multi-couplings for agricultural and construction equipment. With a state-of-the-art production facility at its headquarters in Rivolta d'Adda, near Milan/Italy, and assembly operations as well as sales representations in Pune/India, Ohio/United States, Shanghai/China and São Paulo/Brazil the company is active on a global basis.

With the support of Capvis, the management will seek to further expand Faster's international footprint, while continuing to drive growth through new product introductions and continued expansion into new end markets.

Eric Trüeb, Partner of Capvis, comments: "Faster clearly fits to our strategy of investing in global niche market leaders. Through continued innovation and a commitment to providing top-quality solutions to the world's leading agricultural and construction equipment OEMs, Faster has established itself as the brand for quick-release couplings. We are very excited to have the opportunity to work with Roberto and his team to take the company to the next level in its evolution."

Roberto Zecchi, CEO of Faster, confirms: "We are enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with the Capvis team to further develop the business. We see tremendous opportunities to further leverage on our technical expertise and to take advantage of the positive long-term trends in our core markets. Capvis is the right partner to achieve our goals."
